Dr. John J. Johnston and his experienced and friendly staff at Johnston Chiropractic Health Center in Gainesville, FL have proven expertise in chiropractic care. Also adjunctive care and we have our own in house x-ray facility. We are always prepared to meet your individual health needs. Established in 1982, our trusted health center provides quality chiropractic care to as many people as possible. Dr. Johnston chose an Open-Room concept, which allows for ultra-efficient handling of the patient’s time. Dr. John Joseph Johnston graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 1981 with his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.). He has practiced Chiropractic in Gainesville since 1982. He has been a Master Track & Field All-American since age 45 in the mile run.

He is recognized for his gentle and caring approach to his patients. He is also well known in the community for bringing the benefits of Chiropractic to the public with the many seminars and lectures he gives. Additionally, he travels to Haiti regularly and Guatemala to bring Chiropractic to those who would otherwise not be able to experience its benefits.

Dr. Johnston is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Society, the Christian Chiropractor’s Association and the Florida Track Club. He is a past president of Sherman College of Chiropractic Alumni Association. He attends the Greenhouse Church in Gainesville, FL. Currently, he is serving on the Board of Directors for both the Council on Aging of Florida, Inc. and the Gainesville Health Center. Incidentally his mile time at age 50 was 4:58:0 and was 12 seconds faster than All-American again for his age @ age 60.

Dr. Johnston is married and has three children. He is a Master All-American in USA Track and Field, assists in coaching soccer and cross-country running. He also enjoys sports of all kinds including kayaking, mountain hiking and downhill skiing. His interests also include writing, lecturing on health potential and video production.
